Good reasons for a cellar made from pre-fabricated concrete components

Why have a cellar in spite of this?

Construction reasons: House connections are easier to lay, pipe defects are easier to locate and can be refurbished without excavation work. In the case of insufficient foundation depth compact subsoil can contract through drying out; subsidence and cracks are pre-programmed.

Better quality of living: The extra usable space gained by adding a cellar takes the strain off the normal living spaces. In this way you can design a standard priced living space in a house more cost-effectively if, for example, you plan for the utility room, guest room, sauna, garage or hobby room to be in the cellar. A liveable lower floor increases quality of living on the one hand through the variety of its usage and on the other hand through creating additional living space for the family.
